Thomas Club

7.8.2020 Wednesday morning

This morning from my own tea library, I pulled this book out.

‘Tea Basics’ by my good friends, Wendy Rasmussen and Ric Rhinehart, back in 1999 when we’re working hard with a bunch of pioneers in APTI ( American Premium Tea Institute), which later merged as STI (Specialty Tea Institute).

Thomas Club -
‘Tea Basics’ has this story on page 31.

I joined this Club since 13, first English class of my middle high back in Taiwan with great encouragement from my father and also my tea-cher.

OOLONG SENSE

July 4, National Independence Day of USA.

I checked this out from Wikipedia:
“Thomas Paine was an England-born political philosopher and writer who supported revolutionary causes in America and Europe. Published in 1776 to international acclaim, “Common Sense” was the first pamphlet to advocate American independence.”

This is the inspiration I got when visited Philadelphia with Josephine for a tea presentation back in 2014. I then suggested Dr.Jerry Liu that we need to have “Oolong Sense”, the first pamphlet to advocate Taiwan Oolong in US.

Thomas Paine believes the 'Common Sense' is very important for a United Country. Thomas Shu is enlightened to believe "Oolong Sense" is also very important to offer the practical knowledge about Oolong to get true Connoisseurs to be aware of the fundamentals.
