This is the one that we enjoy so much, and it is indeed our “Together Forever Tea’.

1314 - in Mandarin, means "Forever and Ever".

This tea happens to be from the very garden’s altitude 1314-meter high in Alishan. ( * #TOST2018 / #TOST2019 members all have good walks there.)

TaiwanTeaForum @NCHU on 11/4/2016

We have an immediate post #TOST2016 activity in Taiwan, on 11/4 we participate a conference and forum discussion at National Chung Hsing University in Taichung.  I am honored to deliver the keynote for this 1104 Conference.  Josephine has also led full house audience to chant her famous "We want Taiwan Oolong Tea" !

This is indeed a physical check-up for Taiwan Tea Industry especially with so many compliance change on Food Safety & Environmental issues domestic and internationally.  I tip my hat to the organizer, National Chung Hsing University, for very well designed agendas and forum discussion.  Taiwan tea industry has drawn more attention from the scholars, college students and young tea entrepreneurs... it is very positive!

 

Mealani Tea Conference (9/10/2005)

The first Hawaii Tea Conference at Mealani Research Station on Big Island was held on September 9 and 10, 2005. I was honorably invited by Mr. Sato of Hawaii University to participate this conference to offer two presentations, one on the US Tea Trend, one on the Introduction of Taiwan Oolongs. It was indeed a good experience to see how our friends there passionately initiating and tried to devleop new tea plantation and tea industry on the Big Island. On my flight back to Los Angeles, I did write a Tea Mountain Love Song to wish our Hawaiian friends a lot of luck!
